The sessions have been incredibly helpful; I'm happy to admit I was a little sceptical at first. The changes have been so subtle that I have hardly noticed them myself in my day-to-day life. It isn't until we sit and talk about things or ideas that I previously found difficult that I realise the change has been huge, and the way I face and deal with things has completely reversed. I think more positively now; I face challenges and situations in a totally new way that causes less stress.

I was ready for a change but in denial that it was possible as I had lived with many reactions for a lifetime. Sue ensured that there was no pressure in the process. She reminded me regularly that change was uncomfortable and added no pressure but encouragement. It took a few weeks, but small changes have led to huge improvements in calming my daily life. I didn’t know what to expect when I started working with Sue. I hadn’t t much thought, so I was pretty intrigued by the reality of her work. Sue focuses on the positive rather than the negative, which has led to a very subtle shift in my thinking. And she provides beneficial insights into how the brain works.

My primary intention was to work on my fear of heights, and we
made significant progress. My mantra is no longer “I hope I don’t fall, I hope I don’t fall” (very negative), but now “I am safe, I can do this” (friendly and positive).
I found the subtle shifts in other areas of my life particularly interesting. First and foremost is that after my first session with Sue, I started sleeping well. After years and years of needing at least an hour to fall asleep and then spending 3 to 4 hours awake every night, I fell asleep quickly and when I did wake up, I promptly fell back to sleep again. At first, I thought it was too good to be true. I didn’t mention it at first because I didn’t want to jinx it, but after a year and a half, I think I can safely say that I now sleep very well at night.
I also find that my general outlook is more positive, and that I am much better at tackling tasks right away instead of repeatedly putting them off until later.

I can highly recommend working with Sue. You will be amazed at how things evolve. I also highly recommend having a “top-up” session at regular intervals as it helps you take inventory and see where you stand.

I had been feeling almost constant anxiety in my chest for weeks after a difficult period in my life. I had lost my excitement for life and hope for the future and struggled to feel positive daily.
